The
program will be the fourth annual concert
for Kala-Anjali India Culture Center. The
objective of the Center is to advance the
art through creation, preservation and
sponsorship of artistic and cultural
endeavors.
ANGIKA will
showcase Kathak ( North Indian Classical
Dance), vibrant folk dances of India, Fusion
and Bollywood style. It captivates unique
blend of rhythmic and gestural choreography.
The dancers present powerful and dramatic
sparkling costumes and jewelry and dance to
enchanting music that will take the audience
back through time to a mystical land and
experience the heartbeat and soul of India.
It will be an absolute pleasure to have the

your continual encouragement on our
cultural journey.
Featuring Kathak Artist:
Madhumita Roy (Kolkata,
India)
Born in Musical family with infant prodigy
Madhumita initially nurtured under Late
Pt. Ramgopal Mishra in Jaipur and there
after, she took talim in Lucknow Gharana
under Pt. Vijay Shankar. Later she
has taken advance training under the direct
guidance of Kathak Maestro Pt. Birju
Maharaj at Delhi.
Performances of Madhumita Roy have been
spectacular all through and applauded by all
